Money, Mindful Movement, and Why Bother with Another Online Embodiment Workshop?

The wealth inequality and greed we’re witnessing today didn’t appear overnight. It’s the result of decades of accumulated systems, unconscious habits, and a kind of collective complacency—something most of us, in one way or another, have contributed to.

Growing up in downtown Toronto, I was surrounded by conflicting narratives. On one side: “Be successful. Make money. Master the game—and life will work out.” On the other side: “Money is corrupt. It’s the root of evil. It destroys souls and ruins the planet.” These opposing views weren’t just ideas. They shaped communities, created tension, and sowed quiet division. But here’s what I’ve come to see:

Money never harmed anyone.
People harm people.
Money is a tool. A human invention. It was meant to make life easier. So… what the hell happened?

Sure, money can make people do absurd things. But the deeper question is: why have we made the pursuit of money more important than the practice of love? Why do we chase financial security with more discipline than we chase genuine care for one another?

Money often acts as a smokescreen for unresolved inner issues. And this current version of capitalism is breeding emptiness—people living lives stripped of spiritual depth, cut off from purpose. The question we must ask now is: How do we build a living bridge between the inner world (the sacred, the subtle) and the outer world (the material, the technological)?

For years, like many, I forgot why I came here. I drifted, chasing “things” instead of living by principles. I sought comfort instead of alignment. I numbed myself with consumption rather than listening to the quiet wisdom of the Earth.

But something in me cracked open.

I began to remember.

These days, my priorities—both in life and in business—have shifted:

  1. People – Compassion over competition.

  2. Purpose – Meaning before materialism.

  3. Planet – Aligning my choices with Earth’s intelligence.

  4. Profit – Creating conscious wealth and money health for collective awakening. (Yes, we need support systems to awaken.)
My work now is to support others in transforming their inner environment so that their external actions match their values. I do this through four main gateways: Dharma, Money, Body/Movement, and Meditation.

When I tell people I teach workshops on money, some look confused. Others seem outright disgusted. Just the word “money” can trigger turmoil. And there’s a reason for that.

Many of us feel unworthy of making more money.
Others believe their self-worth is their net worth.
Some blame money for the world’s problems—as if it were a villain with a vendetta. That’s like blaming the road for tripping. The issue isn’t the terrain. It’s how we move.

We created money.
And now it reflects us.
Not the other way around.

I care deeply about the suffering people carry around money and survival. For me, money is a metaphor for energetic sustainability. It’s about lifting ourselves out of scarcity and into a more resourceful, compassionate, and joyful way of being. A shift from surviving to thriving. A return to wholeness. When used consciously, money becomes a fluid, creative, transformational force.

And for those who say they have no issues with money—I say, Phooey!
How could you not be confused, at least a little, about the role money plays in your life, in society, or in your relationship to power, time, and worth? That’s like saying you have no issues with your mind, your emotions, your body, your partner, your community—or God.

Unless you're a fully realized Buddha, you’re probably still untangling something.

Money is energy. You can’t rebel against it or ignore it without consequence. It’s one of the most unexamined territories of modern human consciousness. And it carries an incredibly camouflaged story—one that might reveal how you came to be… and where you may have lost your way.

Maybe we are heading toward self-destruction. But if we are, it won’t be because of technology or nature—it will be because of greed, fear, and our inability to share.

Don’t panic. Get inspired.
Imagine if more kind, awake, conscious people had a clear and healthy relationship with money. Where would we be right now, as a species?

Money, when integrated with movement and mindfulness, becomes a doorway. A lens. A teacher.

So ask yourself:

How much of your life force is consumed by managing money energy?
And how willing are you to re-write the story?

This is the work. Unravel the conditioned patterns handed down by family, society, and a system that forgot what matters. Reclaim your energy. Reclaim your power.

And maybe—just maybe—reclaim money as an ally for something greater.
